I hate to admit that everytime this child has lost a tooth the tooth fairy has forgotten.Dixie: "Mom the tooth fairy didn't come last night."
Me: "Dixie sometimes it may take a day if the toothfairy is really busy. Maybe tonight."
Someimes this happens when the toothfairy forgets again and the special tooth gets lost.
Dixie: "Mom my tooth is missing and the tooth fairy didin't leave any money."
Me: "Dixie the tooth fairy can always find a missing tooth."
Then I scurry without her noticing to put a money under her pillow. I know it's terrible but I can never remember the first night. So this sweet girl always has to wait an extra day.
